I had the pleasure to take a wine tour with Angie in November. It was one of the best parts of my trip to Italy. She knows her wine and could answer any and all questions. We visited two great wineries and sampled lots of wonderful wines. I loved that there was no pressure to purchase but I did manage to bring home a couple of bottles of amazing Chianti.
The tour is a great way to see the Tuscany countryside with interesting places pointed out along the way. Angie was personable, knowledgeable and made the three of us on the tour feel comfortable and glad we were there.
I highly recommend Angie and her wine tour. It was time well spent, as well as being a good value for the money, plus I learned a lot about wine and Italy. Lunch in the castle was fun and delicious too!

This is a great tour! Angie was so nice and knew everything about the region and wines we tasted. I loved being in a small group, and going to the family run wineries. Everyone we met was very friendly! A must do for your visit to Florence!

We spent a wonderful day with Angie going through the Tuscan countryside. This was truly one of the highlights of our trip. It was fascinating to visit the winemakers and see how they work and produce the wine. We went on the Chianti tour this July 2011, next time I would like to try the Brunello tour. It was well done and well paced. If your looking at this web-site trying to decide if you should do it - go for it. I was in the same spot about 6 weeks ago and I'm really glad we signed up with Angie's tour - I rarely write reviews either.

Thank you for a wonderful wine tasting tour with Franchesca in May. We toured the Brunello Montalcino region. What a fabulous time. We booked on line not knowing what to expect. It turned out way better than expected. Had the best lunch at an old 1600 farm house on the hillside, was so beautiful and delicious. So much food! Franchesca was so pleasant to spend the day with and so informative. We had many questions, she answered them all!!! All I have to say is don't miss this trip. It is so worth it! We enjoyed the whole entire day. Thank you again!

I can not thank Angie enough for what has turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of our trip. From the very beginning, Angie made us feel comfortable and at ease. This tour was not only an educational experience, I felt very much as if I were just spending a lovely day in the countryside with an old friend. Of course this particular friend knows a LOT about wine and has fabulous contacts in the Tuscan countryside to make the trip a total experience. I would not have changed a thing and want to encourage anyone considering a tour to take the Chianti Classico and San Gimignano tour. You will be so sorry if you miss out on the visit to the saffron farm and the delicious lunch prepared just for you there. This was a lifetime experience. I sure hope to go again one day, and will never forget the experience. What a FABULOUS day! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Angie!

Everything I read about Angie being the best wine tour in the area proved absolutely true! My wife, daughter and I had the best time. Our day with Angie was one of the highlights of our trip.
Angie is superb guide. Her knowledge of the Chianti region is excellent and she KNOWS where the best wine can be found! I appreciated that she really paid attention to what I wrote about what I was hoping to get out of the trip.
Most important, Angie is a joy to be with. She is fun, as well as an excellent teacher about the wine of the region. I give Tuscan Wine Tours two thumbs up, and recommend it for anyone who has the interest in such an experience!

We had a fantastic day on Angela's tour. The first winery taught us all about the different types of wine in the region, how to identify the best wine, how to taste the wine properly and appreciate it. And of course we were able to appreciate it. It was a very well informed lesson and the time sped by. We had lunch and some further tasting at a second winery, and we then visited a beautiful Tuscany village in which you appreciated the region and it's stunning scenery. For us, this was one of the highlights of our trip and a must if you are in the Florence area.

On a last minute whim, we booked a Chianti Wines and Castles tour with Angie and never regretted a minute! We found Angie through one of Rick Steves recommendations for wine tours. We toured the region with one other couple and had a great time. Angie is knowledgeable, fun, and easy to talk with. This experience was great for us as we had some knowledge about wine but not an extensive background. Angie gave us a good base to discuss Chiantis more intelligently back in the USA!

My wife, son, and I enjoyed a special day in Tuscany in April 2011. Angie drove us through the wonderful hills of Tuscany where we were treated to two tours of small Chianti Classico wineries by the owners. We sampled several small batch wines and learned about the rich heritage of this great region. There were several oportunities for questions, pictures, and the lunch in the courtyard of a 12th century castle on a glorious spring day was a special treat. Thanks for making our day memorable.
